We are on the hunt for a Graphics Designer to work within our Creative Productions team. We are seeking a mid-level designer for our team with experience designing/editing graphics and videos for banners, carousels, ads, social media, blogs, landing pages, emails, mobile-first mockups, and so on.
The Graphics Designer’s role involves working across all our digital properties within our creative team. You will be responsible for creating assets for use within our weekly editorial newsletters, social platforms and websites, as well as special editorial projects and exciting brand partnerships.
We are looking for a designer with fantastic knowledge of digital design and a deep understanding of the requirements for digital formats. Working with editorial content and creative briefs, translating them into strong visuals and dynamic online experiences.
Qualifications
- A strong design portfolio with great typography and layout skills
- Mid-level digital design experience preferred
- Excellent knowledge of Figma and/or Sketch and digital design prototyping software
- Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva)
- Proven experience of designing for mobile and social with a strong understanding of online media formats
- Good technical knowledge of designing for digital platforms with an understanding of the requirements for development
- A strong design sensibility with the ability to work within established styles and guidelines
- Video editing and animation experience, working knowledge of After Effects a plus but not essential
- Knowledge of the digital publishing, advertising and social landscape
- Creative and dialled into design and photography trends
- Knowledge of unique brands and the business world desirable but not essential
- An ability to work under tight timelines or pivoting priorities
- Positive attitude and be a team player
Responsibilities
- Designing and artworking visual assets for our websites, email and social channels
- Developing designs within our brand visual guidelines
- Conducting design and social media research
- Assisting the studio team with administrative tasks
- Maintaining file organization and ensuring assets are easily available to the rest of the business
