We are looking for SEO experts who can bring in-depth knowledge of SEO best practices and a proven track-record of managing, optimizing, and growing organic search with a focus on delivering business goals. The ideal candidate must have 3+ years of experience and strong critical thinking skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Primary goal on this role will be strategically leverage organic search to drive relevant traffic to our sites to maximize acquisition and engagement. Ideal candidate will work with a team of passionate marketers who are focused on delivering an exceptional experience for customers and strong results for our business in a high-performing environment.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of direct experience with all aspects of SEO (on-page, technical, digital PR, etc) with demonstrated success managing mid-market or enterprise websites.
- You have an advanced understanding of search engine algorithms and web analytics.
- You can tell stories using data to compel action from leadership and peers.
- You’re a natural when it comes to building relationships and able to align efforts across multiple departments (content, web, PPC, etc).
- You can articulate SEO strategies to audiences with varying knowledge of SEO (novices to technical experts). You understand the value in clear communication at all levels.
- You are able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and establish strong decision-making principles to meet business objectives.
- Deep understanding and experience with Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Experienced with tools such as Screaming Frog, SEMRush, DeepCrawl, etc.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CMS’s (WordPress, Contentful, etc).

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute SEO strategies across TurboTax Canada’s web experiences (products, calculators, blogs, help topics, etc.) to acquire, engage and retain customers.
- Conduct a variety of audits to identify strategic areas in need of improvement, including content marketing, technical SEO, Core Web Vitals, on-page SEO, and digital PR.
- Drive the execution of strategic SEO initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders including design, development and marketing teams as well as agency partners.
- Closely monitor KPIs and interpret organic search performance changes to make actionable recommendations to management and stakeholders.
- Communicate complex SEO campaign requirements to internal and external delivery partners. Share the guidelines and principles that ensure proper implementation.
- Be our internal champion of best practice. Educate team members on the nuances of our strategy and stay ahead of industry developments to further our future roadmap.
